Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to offer general anesthesia to treat my patients?
  • No, you don’t!
  • There are ways to utilize oral sedation, IV sedation, and/or hire an independent contractor.
Where and how am I going to get these patients to treat?
  • You will start with your own patients and implement TM to increase your production.
  • When you become proficient with TM, you can offer your services to dentists who are limited, treat them, and then you can refer back to that referring dentist; it is a win-win for all parties.
Currently I don't do root canals; will this course show me how?

No. Yet, how to hire an independent contractor is discussed in detail.

Do I have to have 6 handed dentistry to deliver treatment under IV?

No, you don’t have to. Yet, I find the benefits of 6 handed dentistry increases your production, decreases fatigue and stress, and allows for an overall positive experience for the patient staff and operator.

Is a hygiene assistant really profitable?
  • Yes.
  • The patient is in the chair for a lesser amount of time.
  • The assistant can take x-rays, clean up, and set up while the hygienist performs the bulk of the cleaning; this decreases workload on all parties.
I already planned my large cases to reduce the amount of patient visits, so what is the difference between what you will be teaching and what I do in my office?
  • I am offering a more organized approach to clinical dental procedures comprehensively. This includes periodontics, endodontics, restorative, crown and bridge, oral surgery, and implant planning.
  • The course teaches more organized methods with six handed dental staff procedures.
  • By using different forms of anesthesia, the patient can have more treatment completed in 1-2 visits.
What is involved in my certification and or permit requirements for oral, IV, and general anesthesia?

In the online course, a detailed explanation of all forms of anesthesia is discussed.

Can I benefit from TM if I don’t want to use anesthesia?

Yes, you will benefit from this course as it provides details of organization,  checklists, six handed dental procedures, and much more to make you the doctor more predictable in you dental procedures.

Will you be giving me papers or forms to take home and implement in my practice?

    • History and physical paperwork,
